well, team trials came and went, with mixed feelings. we came in 3rd both for pairs and team...i can't say i wasn't disappointed not to make either of the national teams, but at the same time, we had some shining moments. (and some catastrophe's, namely my individual performance which was absolutely terrible.) perhaps i should only do synchro events from here on out.
but the rest of the trip was pretty darn awesome - i could get used to this concept of vacation. 8 trips to the olive garden, 4 trips to the outlet malls, and beach/pool galore...florida wasn't half bad. we did this 2 hour segway tour of clearwater...and i have to admit, segways look dorky but they're AWESOME. i'd get one if they weren't $5k.
on another note, i've been watching a lot of movies lately. and by a lot, i mean...more than 1 every 3 years.
toy story 3 was beyond awesome. i was so impressed, i'd see it again. what a perfect way to wrap up the series (uh, please don't make any more...)
and then there was despicable me...

our new goal is to get issac a unicorn doll and have him say "it's so FLUFFY i'm gonna die!"
next on the list are karate kid and/or inception. i'm not sure how i feel about inception though...i hear people die. not cool.
otherwise...still waiting on the condo closing. sigh. i really hope the timing works out for everything cuz...i just want to be moved in, already! ugh. though as i think about it...i'm going to miss chez chong and the kids...i'll be sad if i come back to visit and i-man can suddenly pronounce his L's and speaks all coherently. boo, growing up. speaking of which, i have to video him singing 'hey soul sister' before i go. it's pretty accurate =)
