the plan has been declared effective. blar de blar blar blargh, 129 pages later, looks like the apt might actually close in june. man...now i know why i'm paying an arm and a leg to have brokers and lawyers read all this junk for me. even so, i'm still wary of something sneaking in under my nose.
aln commented the other day that because i'm a learner (strengthfinders) i like to be around people who i can learn from. (duh, sounds obvious). but i thought about it and it's true. why would i be around someone who i can't learn something from? i mean, i even learn from kids. but useless people - i have no patience for useless people.
in a very tight race of people i hate and occupations without scruples...
1. people who work at the dmv and the tow pound. some people should not be given power, and these are them. tow pounds are state sponsored extortion. seriously.
2. real estate brokers (except my broker, who is awesome). sin and greed embodied. on top of uselessness (how many times can i call the seller's broker and ask about progress to get an ambiguous non-response?)
3. health insurance representatives and medical malpractice. seriously, i just want adequate medical care for non ridiculous sums of money. please?
