How do you be nice to someone without inviting more unwanted attention? (And how come I can't get attention from the people from whom I would like to receive attention? What is this, irony at it's best?)
What's strange is, sometimes you get people who just don't see the signals (the massively NEGATIVE signals) you're sending out. And that's just people being oblivious. I've been there. But the strange thing is that he seems to understand the signals...and yet...unfazed. Full steam ahead with the totally random and abrupt overstepping of boundaries. Hello, you have to READ a person first and figure out how to get to know them...particularly if it doesn't just happen naturally. Eh, I don't know.
How do you be clear without being mean?
