conflict

gah i hate it when people don't plan ahead. YARGH.

so a good month ago, i asked when the tkd holiday party would be this year. generally got ignored. kept pestering, and finally got a response that this year it'd probably be in january...like a new year's type of deal.

fine, so i scheduled our tlc xmas party for the 19th. that went out a week ago - to which people are taking their own sweet time in replying. (seriously - the creator of the evite can see when you've checked it...so you may as well respond...)

what do i get today, but an evite for the tkd holiday party. on the 19th. for the exact same time.

seriously? SERIOUSLY?

i realize the 19th is a prime date to throw a holiday party. but would it have been so hard to figure that out more than 10 days prior? sigh. i'd better not get the evil eye that i didn't go. so aggravated that i anticipated the conflict and tried so hard to avoid it - but in the end it conflicted anyways.
