floss

Flossing is very important. I previously thought flossing was something that was just good for your gums. You know, keep them tough to prevent gingivitis or whatever. Little did I know that, the second most common place to get a cavity (other than the top of your tooth) is that exact miniscule space where your teeth touch.

Until I went to my new dentist yesterday, had him scrape and ultrasonically chisel around and make me bleed cleaning my teeth (I *hate* the noise the drill makes) - and was told I had 4 cavities. FOUR. And all because I don't floss enough, they were all tiny and between my teeth.

So my advice to all - FLOSS PEOPLE! It's important. For you, your teeth, and your budget.
