meatballs

Our receptionist walks into my cube today and says "do you know where Anthony's meatballs are?"

I pause. I think. And say "um...no"

She continues to walk around the office and ask loudly "has anyone seen Anthony's meatballs?"

It appears that no one has.

Our office is having our annual international luncheon today. To celebrate diversity (or something of the sort), we do this lunch every year where people either make food from their ethnicity or we order some from around Queens, and have a massive lunch. Anthony is my coworker who is half Italian/half Irish and was - apparently - making meatballs for the lunch. Except no one's seen them. And they're having a lot of fun asking where they are...
