superdork :)

My good friend and former ministry buddy Danny Park (are you my reader?) wins the category of superdork today with his response to my email regarding the update on my knee injury:

"What's a meniscus? Given the shape water makes when it's in a tube (meniscus), I'd guess a meniscus is some sorta cartilage between bones?"

I can't believe he made a (correct) guess from another scientific observation. Yes, he's that smart. (Go Danny!) Hahaha...

So the final verdict (eh, as final as it gets) is that the MCL is strained but the meniscus is torn. And from the MRI they can't tell whether it's going to heal itself or not. (Grr, that's not helpful). So the question of surgery still looms in the air, though not as imminently as before. But the fact is, it's still there, and that makes it bad. *sigh* Please pray for some accelerated healing and NO SURGERY.
